Lots of things have happened since christmas, time for a small update:

Computer related:
* I’m busy with the network for eth-0 summer lan event.

eth-0 will be a crossing between a campzone and a megabit, bringing together the best of both worlds. Together with the noc team we’ll keep this network up and running.

* I’m switching jobs to asp4all.

Starting on the 1st of march I’ll be working as a infrastructure engineer at asp4all. I’m also going to work with an ex-colleague which I really enjoyed working with. Martin, are you ready for PWNAGE at the ISP Kartcompetitie?

* I’m busy with writing my own python based ftpd, especially for lan events.

Most of the ftpd’s I know have issues with either sendfile() or just aren’t competent and/or complete enough. Since that sucks, I started writing my own, based on PyFTPDLib. Right now, it supports subnet scanning, (remote) indexing + searching and per-cmd-per-user-per-ip RBAC with group support.

* I’ve setup an 100mbit ipv4/6+ssl irc server which is linked to the freecode irc network.

Life related:
* I’ve rediscovered De Kelder

After the boycott time (some person let herself to be abused by the “new” management to kick everybody they didn’t like out of the kelder) I’m back! Actually, apart from some small details nothing hasn’t really changed. It’s still the same chaotic mess it always has been. I’d might even start working there again

* I’m starting to enjoy hyves.

Yes, for all the hyves haters: Enjoy it while it lasts 2008 will be the year of social networking and I’m enjoying it You can also follow my musical taste over at last.fm. I still need to get my LinkedIn profile sorted though.

* I’m going to Groezrock and HentaiBreaks this year.

Yeah, r3boot is visiting non-computer related events Melis & Zarya talked me into going to groezrock in Belgium. Hehe, I hope they know how r3boot & alcohol goes along… HentaiBreaks will be very cool. It’s a nerdy “different” dance event held at C-Base in Berlin. Maze & Buzz are going there too.
